Halloween Babies on Parade in Newark, Ohio......

The cold weather has arrived but the most beautiful tree in Newark is a golden Gingko tree splashing yellow flutters of bright yellow across the street in the bright afternoon sunshine. Tonight we were visited by lightning and a thunderstorm to beat the band. The skies opened and the water fell like a rushing waterfall visiting my cabin on the hill. I was very grateful that I was home and under the quilts with my beloved Rosie and Desdemona. Ken was busy making a special DVD for a dear friend and watching the Ohio State football game. I hope you enjoy the beautiful spooky spirits that blessed my life on Trick or Treat night. I did work on my studio as I prepared for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.... I organized my materials and folded the blank cards and dug out my special punches and wonderful glazes to add delightful sparkle effects to delight the child's heart in all of us. Have a great weekend. I am volunteering at the Midland Theater tomorrow for the handsome Josh Turner. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

  2. Looks like everyone had a spooktacular time. All the costumes are so good. We have 'trunk or treat' at the school, here in our little town, then some of the kids go house to house afterwards. I always get such a kick out of seeing the little ones have such a good time.
btw, I hope we get some of that rain soon too.
