Friday and renewal with a wonderful former student after 25 years....
I had a very busy day and a wonderful surprise...Bobbie Halloway for 1984 at Rosemore Junior High walked into the gallery with her husband and beautiful daughter Brianna. The flood of
emotions that came into my whole being is difficult to describe. She is a stunning beauty and e quickly remembered some of the crazy things that happened in my classroom. I told her Ken and I had just celebrated our 25TH wedding anniversary and she beamed with a big smile. Her family does not live too far away and I am hoping that we get to reconnect in the future ...possibly with her daughter Brianna. I also had a happy baby day...it seemed everywhere I looked I saw a smiling, happy baby enjoying the Works. The young mothers were busy catching up with each other and then my man Cooper stopped by ... the space was filled with total sunshine and joyful squeals of gleeful laughter. I completed the tee shirt for my friend's costume...Inspector Gadget and his niece Penny with their wonder dog Brainy...the tee shirt was very simple and Samantha is an incredible young woman with a generous heart and spirit. I completed another little collage today...I placed them at the opening gate for the wedding party rehearsal's dinner tonight at The Grill. Tomorrow I will volunteer for the annual Harvest Festival from 11 to 3 in the courtyard. The weather will be cool and crisp and I am looking forward to seeing my grandchildren enjoying all of the activities. Sheep shearing, sun prints, masks, glass blowing demonstrations, Civil War paper doll activities and of course pumpkin decorating. Life is fantastic.
