a day of optimism..........changes are coming.............but that is called living.....

Today Ken had another doctor's appointment...and then we spent the day exploring new horizons.  It was exhausting but we ended up having a wonderful spinach salad with our Erin as I picked up some more salty caramels for a special present.  The three little ones came in the front door bearing special books and gifts from Nana and Papa... it is always an exciting day at the Spalding house.   We kept smelling smoke...and it did remind us that the crisp Fall days are just around the corner...but this time ....the smoke came from a camp fire at a neighbors that had rekindled.  The wonderful fire department came to check this out...and put the fire out for good.  The young firemen invited the kids to come and see the firetruck ...there is never a dull moment with these three little spirits.  We came back to their own backyard that is very much like a private park and swung on their swing set.... life just does not get better than today!

transformative...............Art from our intuitive hearts................

Every day we are witnessing miracles......I made a quick stop by the courtyard for the picnic planned to celebrate the opening of Jim Arter's collaboration with the youth here in Licking County.  Janice LaRoso was instrumental ...along with about 20 other people ....to make this night happen....
Jim Arter is an artist who recognizes the voices of those who might be overlooked ...due to their economic circumstances...or maybe abilities.... of educational opportunities.  Jim is living in bright color every day!!!

This exhibit is up until October ...and a celebration for all who worked together to make this happen....I need to go back...in the quiet to study...observe .... and take in all of the marks and word messages...........
 RESPECT.....model this affirmation...share ....give.....donate your very being.....mentoring is contagious.....ART Saves Lives!
Jim grew up in Newark....he knows what it feels like to be on the outside....a bit different.... to hear his own distinct drum.... his heart 's generosity continues to grow ....
Fused glass collaboration created with Larry Tuber in the Glass studio... Peace for all...I think this printed on its side....the message is clear........

 just IMAGINE.............

Peace is for all.................
