The Granville Art and Wine Festival.....celebrate those who create....

My young ones have traveled to Myrtle Beach for a week of vacation and fun in the sun. We now have a house guest named Domino...a sweet 7 month old puppy who was suppose to be a Yorkshire terrier mix...but he is the biggest Yoekie I have ever seen. Our Rosie is getting along just fine but our 19 year cat Desdemona is not too happy with us. She finally came in tonight and seems to be relieved that he is upstairs and she can stay downstairs away from a curious puppy.

Ken and I attended the Granville Art and Wine Festival today and the breeze was wonderful and the heat very comfortable for all who attended. Kathy Anderson and Tony Reynolds had a great location in the front of the festival and were near the music and the oncoming Art patrons. It seemed that this year was more profitable for those artists participating even if the actual numbers were down a bit. Outdoor festivals are fun but can be treacherous if the weather turns horrible...like last week's Columbus Arts Festival disaster with 34 tents destroyed.

I hope you all have had a glorious weekend and I will post another blog tomorrow with the "Potpourri" watercolor exhibit and Kojo Kamau 's retrospective photographic expose covering the Columbus Symphony history. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

  1. Mary Helen ... This looks like you and ALL had a wonderful time at the festival! Glad to hear your sales were okay this year. I got a kick out of the photo that looks like you are holding the money in a bowl and your protege is calculating the profits. Love it! Stay cool. It is really hot in Texas this week. Blessings to you! Vernita Bridges Hoyt
