Tea for my Tuesday and a very busy day....

I had several assignments to complete this morning and a big pile of "stuff" to find a new home for before the Young Professionals arrived at 5:30 pm at the end of their scavenger hunt around the square. We have had a day with roller coaster weather ...torrential showers even for April...dark clouds hovering overhead....then a glimpse of sunshine appeared just in time for the Columbus guests arrived ready to eat, drink and be merry. They were a wonderful group of optimistic Realtors exploring the county's treasures and hidden jewels located in downtown Newark. We had pizza, potato skins, quesadillas and a great selection of wines, beers and mixed drinks. There was no worry because they arrived on a tour bus so no one had to worry about the driving issue. I think they all enjoyed the evening with the auctions and drawings for prizes and overnights in local hotels and bed and breakfasts. A good time was had by all!

My Godchild Amber Rose went into labor tonight and is about to become a mother for the very first time.... we are waiting anxiously and my sister is flying down to Charlotte in the morning so by then we will all welcome our new boy Mason James to our family. I am praying for safe arrival and delivery for all...I remember the day Donna had Amber Rose and how my life has changed since then.

Tomorrow I have another blessed visit and art lesson with my Cora from South Carolina. We are going to paint!!! The table is ready and the canvas is out and the palette is ready to make her sacred marks and brushstrokes to create her rainbow puppy to hang with her collage from Monday. I photographed the tulips on the courthouse lawn on the way home from the studio...they were closed a bit to protect themselves from the approaching this evening. The weather watches and tornado warnings are now posted until 5 am but somehow I feel safe and sound now that I am home. The river was up but has not left her banks from all the rainfall so hopefully tomorrow we can still have our Easter Egg hunt in the center courtyard.

My dear travelers come home also tomorrow and I am anxious to hear about their adventures and see each and everyone of their photos ...I do wish I could have gone but ...well maybe next time. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

p.s. When I study my images from today's gifts and visitors ...I am reminded how fortunate I am to be able to live my dream. Thank you.
