happy birthday baby brother .... mark you are always in my heart....

Today was an incredible day with family and sunshine. The children were happy to be outside and design chalk drawings on the patio and soon it all returned to a wild wild game of catch and hide and seek and you name it..they all played it until the end of the Family hour. Next week we are planning an Easter egg hunt ...hopefully the weather will cooperate :O}!

I want to thank Red and Pat Wiggington for my Frosty Morning Bluegrass ball cap...the very best bluegrass group in the state of Ohio. Pat and Red will celebrate their 58 anniversary on July 11TH and I have adopted them as my Newark family. I need to get back to listening to their music...it has a way of easing the pains in the day. When my mother was alive I would call her long distance and sing "I 'll Fly Away" with this wonderful group of players. This is my very favorite hat ever and I plan on wearing ti every day!

I continued selecting the vintage laces for my commission and discussed a possible summer camp with Liz Argyle this summer. Photography in the morning and making art in the afternoon with a small select group of almost teens. I have a lot to consider and get ready so we can get the ball rolling with advertisement. I had three sisters come into the studio to request some information for a possible gathering this summer...sewing possibly and a collage /drawing experience. The ladies were back in the central gallery with their card playing and monthly lunch ...they share laughter, the cards, the plays and sweet candies. I love witnessing the vitality of this circle of friends.

Ken came down for the Family evening and dinner...we shared an enormous Philly Steak sandwich and I have enough for my lunch tomorrow. I am tired but so grateful for the day's gifts. I need to get a few things done before bedtime so until tomorrow....Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

  1. You look cute in the cap...philly cheese steak, ooh haven't had one of those in years, taste so good, not so good for you, but what the heck, you have to indulge now and again. xox Corrine

  2. Yes every now and then you just have to break all the rules ...I ate one half of my half and today I had the other one for my lunch! We had a beautiful day today with gentle breezes and sunshine to warm the heart! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
