mea culpa Cathy Spivey Mendola...

Last night I published a beautiful moon photo shopped... by a very creative woman who signs her images at the bottom... Cathy Spivey Mendola. I have been working on a year long project involving the power of the full moon... Cathy's image spoke to me and I knew if you hit on it you would see her signature ....so I do apologize for posting without clearly stating this was Cathy 's photo image. We have shared my apology by way of posts but I truly loved this image and wanted to share the moon image and tree with the others working on their full moon fiber journal.

I have had a very busy day but once again without heat in the studio...I visited the Grill's kitchen a couple of times to warm my back side on their oven :O)! Of course it was a very frigid day once again and I worked until about 4:30 and then ran a few more Santa errands...where is the time flying to so quickly? I usually do not think about the chaotic rush most of the time but I am having some trouble finding one or two things. We still have time... Santa does have a few wonderful elves working together.

I have an artist coming tomorrow to work on her commissions so I will be working on a small one of mine and we will share lunch time. I went to Michaels and picked up a few half price items and some blank cards and envelopes. I picked up a few items for the girls to paint while our cookies are baking on Thursday evening... it seems to help the time pass when their little hands are busy making a special ornament for the tree of 2010.

Ken and I met for an early dinner at Ruby Tuesdays but I skipped my Tea for Tuesday and enjoyed a very warming hot cup of cocoa. We are both wearing out a wee bit earlier due to this cold blast of weather. I am never completely warm anymore...I needed more time to get used to the cold I think. I did enjoy the clear sunshine on the iced frosted tree limbs this morning. The snow is so clean and fresh. Have a quiet evening and remember to pay your credit card bills promptly. 1. Doesn't the snow look pretty?BRRRRR It's seemingly a January month instead of December! It looks so festive around you. Ours is quite plain this time of year. Don't think we will do a tree. Too busy still working on the house.

  3. Beautiful photos. We finally saw a few flakes, but we have howling wind and frigid cold too. I don't know why it takes us so long to get warm, but I am feeling that it takes longer too! Hope the heat returns to the studio soon. xox Corrine

  5. Mary Helen, I tell you, this cold can wear you out faster than heat I think! I was out for a short bit this morning shooting a few photos of frost before the sun melted it and I have been cold and hurt ever since I came back in! Dang!
My large commission is close to completion and I too am wondering where the days are rushing off to. I want the first part of the month back! I need more time! LOL!
Stay warm and take care~~from someone who cannot follow her own advice! ;D

    XXOO~~♥

  6. Gorgeous winter photos- I love the jugs with the snow- wonderful photo art Mary Helen. There is no snow in my neck of the woods but the Pacific Coast has its own winter beauty. Thank you for your kind comment and many blessings this Holiday season to you and yours!

  8. Thank you for mentioning me in this post. I hope I didn't sound too snippy. I had some other blog friends who were experiencing folks taking images off their sites and using them as their own. I knew you weren't doing that but still wanted a nod as to where the picture came from.
    Thanks so much!
    The photos above are gorgeous!
By the way, do you have photos of your 'moon' project? I would love to see what you're doing.
