My beloved Weblos....Tuesday watercolor exercises

Tonight the weather is changing ...the snow is returning but I had a warm evening with my beloved Weblos.   They have now completed their badge requirements for their Art badge to be presented on March 16 at a local church dinner party.  I gave them all a baby spider plant...they were fascinated by the off shoots...and so they all wanted to try to grow one at home.  I am totally exhausted but I do believe they had a great time...honestly I think just playing with paints is enough of a lesson.

selection of watercolor supplies...paper...brushes,,,pencils...water bottle...and tube watercolors.....
Shine on these new cards ...monkey!
a young visitor came in...he loves Art and hopefully will be back... He Loves The Works!!!!!!
 St. Patrick's Day...are you Irish?

Collin is working on his own style............
Haiden is my red haired wonder...he was anxious to be home for his chicken pot pie....
delicate control...his brushstrokes are quite nice... soft application and pure concentration..........
Collin is painting his first spider plant...
way to go Zach.... enjoy those brushstrokes.............do not worry...let it go!
Trevor is quite pleased.............. he has been ill lately so I am praying for him to get better....he is such a dear little boy!
Trevor helps Lilly make her first spider plant..... she is quite talented....
Collin is adding the muddy water ...a combination fo colors ...transparent...effective...........
now for the final composition....add all of tonight's design elements.......to make a whole......
Zach is persistent and dedicated to creating a his composition..........
10 minutes of quiet....concentration... to sketch a complete still life...mix their own colors....
 serious  looking.......
the parents surround the boys to see their final works and the portraits......
Lilly did a great job...she is a quiet wonder......
 a portrait to really study.........
 Lilly's portrait...she is a cutie!
Zach shared his special portrait and told us the story about this cousin...she lived with them ...and lived with  a premature aging disease...but he remembers her sense of humor....
 Collin's mother is really pretty............
Zach's final creative composition is quite energetic....

now it is time to clean up............
I worked on replenishing my card selection...St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner...Easter cards and and some cute little baby boy cards.  Ken brought me a fish sandwich and a iced tea unfortunately it was sweetened ...yuck!  Now I need a good shower but enjoy the photos!  I will wait to see how much snow we have in the morning...I left my glasses at the studio.   I really would lose my head if it was not attached.  I know it is because I am so tired.  I wish you all peace and safety!  Peace,  Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
