Here comes Peter Cottontail...hopping down the snow trail......

Today is March 25...........and we have a beautiful blanket of white...fluffy....yes... wet heavy snowfall.  I do feel the Easter Bunny could become a bit confused.  Erin is in Chicago to test market a special machine to make her Three Kids and a Kitchen caramels....she returns late tonight.  Tina had her appendix removed this morning and I am making a pot of homemade vegetable soup.  I did speak to her very briefly...she was groggy and I told her to go to sleep.  Ken went out to mail the taxes...the bills...and pick up some groceries.  I am catching up on the laundry and working to take a few things over to Tina's house.

The Spalding kids are champs on their Ipads...............come on Grandma...I can show you how...Lyndon is 2 years old.  He is a great sharer!!!!

Cole and Morgan are playing a roller skating grandma game...........notice Morgan's beat Bexley shirt..
Mom gets to take a breather...dinner is on us......
Cole is checking out his new Art book on drawing Furries....I think Morgan is intrigued also....Conkle is checking for cupcake crumbs.....
Lyndon is reading his book with Grandpa!!!!!!
One step at a time...we can use layers of colors....pastels...........and a new sketchbook...
 and then.........from Nature to sillies!
Cole seems to enjoy is first works with the pastels and rubbing/blending stubs....he filled the whole page..........
 more Grandpa...............I need more books.......
drawing pencils......new colored pencils...with metallic pencils.....plus soft soft pastels......... and a new sketchbook to save the journey..........
 I am proud...........
 Grandma ..."I burped"...so I gave him a kiss...........
Morgan took this photo of Grandpa putting the mashed potatoes on............
check out that rocket..............it really works....
I think Cole wants his book back..
Lyndon loves on his Grandma and his Grandma Conkle ...he loves his beagle..........
 now let us explore......play........make combinations..........

his letters to announce his latest Art............

Dad spent some one on one time with Mr. Lyndon.......
I spent almost an hour on my emails and then tried to catch up with Facebook.  I truly do not know how so many people can get their works done......... and still stay on top of the Internet "stuff".  We spent the afternoon over at Erin's as she prepared for her Chicago trip .  She shared the photos of the new work space she is exploring....and well my words fail to express how proud we are of her.  Cole is celebrating the whole week for his 6 Th birthday!  Cupcakes for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!  I made a wonderful roast.....if I say so myself.  And I think we all just enjoyed being together......  I have a hard time believing that it has been 6 years since this little man entered my heart.  You make my heart smile Cole!!!!!!!!

I am hoping the snows will disappear.........Spring is coming......Easter is Sunday.  Peace,  Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

  1. Glad to see you enjoying the family. I hope to get in to see you this week. I'm just waiting for the call to say my taxes are done. I'll be in to see you when I pick them up. Mom is still having problems but hopefully she'll get better soon.

  4. Sweet pics! Don't try with the Internet. I have decided to spend less time. Don't want to tap my life away instead of living it.
