Our delicous venture to the granville Farmers Market..................

 We drove by the new home.....small but inviting...
 the owner has planted some beautiful Mums for this Fall...Yes it will be so different...but we will be closer to the grand kids and Ken's doctors...
 the summer gardens will need to be tended when we arrive but most of them are perennials .... I do appreciate the brick trim edge........
 this is the bouquet of sweet basil from Dawes Learning Garden...so fragrant and simply lovely..........
 I love the light reflection through the green leaves..a here for a fleeting moment....like most Miracles in Nature...precious ....
 Momma Kristen and baby Abby are on their way to their new home in Kansas....two sweet girls.....
Marilyn ... you would be so proud of your beautiful girls..this hug is for you!!!!!!!!!











Yesterday Ken and I went to the Granville Farmers market.... wonderful summer morning...a community gathering...fresh fruits and vegetables...baked goods from a bakery with a conscious  "Go Cat Bakery"...wines...green teas...fresh cheeses...sunflowers...and well so much more.  This is a treat for the senses and puts you in a good mood the minutes you walk down the streets of Granville!


Sale pending...that is us...today we went to Sears and bought a washer /dryer for the laundry room...it is a floor model but it will work just fine....
 this is the beginning of the Granville Farmers market....that is the line for Branstool Peaches...sweet juicy treats of the Gods........
 for $1.00 you can have your choice of eggplant..so wonderful!
 beautiful white flowers...........from the street flower markets....
 so many beautiful bouquets in affordable price ranges.........
 "There is a party in my van Mary"  Tosh Camp is not 5 and is there to help his mother and father with the "Go Cat bakery"   a bakery with a conscious...
 The best unique baked goods in the farmers market...I am in love with the deep dark chocolate brownies made with black beans, raspberries and beets......delicious...
 of course ...not everyone had their dog with them....look at this cute pig!!!!!!!!

 I love the dainty  floral fabrics and cloths used in this beautiful stand....
 yes ...I am waiting in the Branstool Peaches line with Mom and Grandma.........I love her hair............

 Gene Branstool and his beautiful bride are there every Saturday morning...they are the very best peaches around.......
 Marcia Downes...your handsome grandson Jack was in line with his Momma and Dad!!!

 I love sunflowers...........
 Ice Cream for our puppies!!!!!!!!!

Who knew???  This may explain why there were so many dogs attended the market...........
 Ken is selecting some new relishes ........
 her spices are superb.....so fresh..........
 we bought the jalapeno raspberry relish..sweet and just a taste of spicy kick......delicious....
 several of these young entrepreneurs are featured in this latest edition of Edible Columbus...............
 My dear friend Eva Montgomery's grandson John was there and he can transfer your VHS videos and such to DVD...........Home Studio Video...........for everyone..............
 little children 's wicker chairs......warms a Grandmother's heart.....
 this very young artist ...sold me a painting ...under the carefully watchful eye of a very proud Dad...........
 an old friend Larry Nawadoney's wood carvings were available............
Larry is quite a character............... but his Santa's are special legacy pieces............





This church group... Pedal for Peace....make bikes available for those who might not have the funds for a new bike...they have been very generous with the YES kids this summer...........

 then there are the resident Granville cats.... they live  very precious loved lives..........

 here I spied an artist studio up above the garage....I wish I could have gone inside...........
 another Guardian Cat sculpture...welcoming all the visitors to downtown..............
 and then there were these two pampered wiener pups  traveling first class in their own stroller..........
 We ended the afternoon ...Ken working on the new garden bench............
 I began my painting for the Fur Ball Auction in September...it was very relaxing out on the back deck........
 my first layer of bright colors.................
 Roxie is ready to help me paint...she tried to drink my paint water...........she is a very curious little dog......

 a dark stain ...adds a creative touch.... I think I need one for the new little house too..........
I think this is a good start for a colorful Fur Ball donation....I want it to stand out...I think it is 24 by 24 ...it is larger than I usually create but I do have time...and I want to have FUN!

  3. MORE colors coming tomorrow....Morgan asked me to please add a kitten.....so I am doing my research. I told her I was not very good at cats...but what kind of grandma would I be...she is getting her kitten! See you all tomorrow! Peace, Mary helen Fernandez Stewart
