I am tired...but once again I have a plan...

Ken and I met with the eye surgeons and specialists at Bloomberg Eye Center for Sight this morning and after several evaluations and a meeting with a compassionate surgeon.  We have made all the precautions and asked all the questions...now we just move forward.  On Monday i will experience a 10 to 15 minute surgical procedure and have the left eye repaired.  Ken was so surprised at how little I was actually seeing out of the left eye...the largest letter shown was  a B...but really it was an S!!! He has been calling me Stevie Wonder ever since.   I have met with reassurance that by next Tuesday ...I will see such an improvement and I will see colors once again.  Beautiful clear colors...and on the next Monday we will move forward and have the next eye repaired.  To be honest...I can hardly wait...this is a very tiring process but letting the impairment continue could be way more devastating.  Please forgive me for being so short...but I am so tired right now.  Peace,  Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
