Mary ...MOM is thrilled with Camille's works...she also made a melted crayon web design... Hendrix had his soccer practice...
Hendrix is exhausted ...the future is yours...
Jay and Tre are waiting for their rides after working family night at The Grill Deli! Thank you guys!
I have had a great day ...the studio was bustling and visitors enjoyed my organized chaos dedicated to Halloween and tonight we made wonderful scarecrow collages with papers and Elmer's glue. Simple ...playful...and oh so much fun. A couple students finished their melted crayon spooky web compositions....nothing satisfies like the action in melting broken crayons. I helped Cindy back in the kitchen as she prepares her delicious fresh Chicken salad....and we had a chance to sit down for a few minutes before the evening rush comes in for Skyline chili dogs! I bought my own copy of The Corpse Bride on sale at Michaels on Sunday and the whole place seemed to be fascinated with the animation and the wonderful dancing skeletons. I did get to work on my paint application and organized my bead selections for the big quilt but I forgot to get a photograph of them...maybe tomorrow. I want to thank a dear friend who made a donation to my studio to help finance the materials for the free family nights. No one succeeds alone in this world and ...well my words fail to express my true appreciation for his human kindness. I hope you have had a great day also....I try to get around to as many blog posts as I can and I appreciate the wisdom, insight and a multitude of inspirations. I hope you will enjoy the images ... the smiling faces say it all. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

You are living a full life, my friend! Look at those faces. They won't ever forget the hours spent creating with you. And now I have to find my copy of the Corpse Bride! xox
ReplyDeleteHow lovely it must be to have time with so many young talents. And how fortunate they are to have you to care for, about and with them. Looks like a terrific win/win situation all the way around. Oma Linda
ReplyDeleteMy sentiment exactly and always, smiling faces! :)
