Princess Panties for my very own Princess

This photo says it all and yet I do not know where they get their crazy ideas...hmmmmm. I went out to find and purchase special princess panties for Morgan Elizabeth to wear when she is in school and using the big girl bathroom. Now Cole is another story...I just love how he gets her in the mood to try this new and modern idea...but it has to be her idea.

I have been very tired once again but I did get quite a lot done today in the studio. I framed two mono-prints to donate for an Art Auction...one for the Rotary auction and the second for my dear Sophia's auction to raise funds for her and the choir to go to England next year in 2012. I finished my small Halloween collage and started collecting materials for a second one to finish before next Saturday's Harvest Festival in the courtyard. I also have some ideas for the upcoming holidays for small gifts...made from the heart! I added a photo of my work table...I had it straightened this morning but afternoon...well you get the idea just by looking at the photo. Yikes! Tomorrow I am going to continue my quest for organization...it is a slow process but oh so necessary. Could I have already out grown my beloved space?? NOOOOO! I just need to make the most of the space.

I went to Michael's store this afternoon to pick up one of Martha Stewart's circular circle cutter on sale for 50% off...just today. I also need to go back and pick up some acid free cardboard ...for our proposed collographs for sending to our troops serving over seas in hot hot deserts. We are going to make cool Winter scenes to hang in their dining room/tents for Holiday cheer. I now have to practice a little first to ease the works to an easy street. I am also painting a life sized Santa Claus ...in an antiqued style with embellishments and soft textures. Whew I get tired just thinking about all I need to do...but one step at a time.

I am still trying to find the words to honor Steve Jobs who lost his long but valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. His images have been all over the news ...but it is still hard to accept the reality...we should all live for the Present moment and do what is often thought to be impossible or improbable. Steve was an incredible man with foresight to not allow the naysayers block his growth.

  1. It was baby and friends day in the central gallery. I will try to rephotograph my mono-prints without the glass tomorrow ...I do not like the reflections. Have a great day! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
