We have had a very busy day...Santa is flying over South America according to Norad officials. The fog is a heavy, velvety blanket upon our valley. We ran errands...pick up last minute gifts..wrapped ...read a few final Christmas cards... and had a salmon dinner with whole wheat roll and a green leafy salad ...it was healthy and tasted really great after all the sweets I have tasting for the last week. I thought about going to midnight mass but ...I know we are up early to share Christmas morning with the Spaldings ....Chance will just be getting home from the hospital so I know he will be ready to catch some zzzzzzz's. Then we head back to Newark and collect Maya Rose and Sabrina Leigh for our volunteering and serving dinner with the whole Salome family. I think this is our 4th year and we really do find it cheers up the heaviest hearts. Finally we are due to Tina's for ham dinner with all the fixings. We made a dash stop tonight to supervise the cookie decorating and to give Sabrina her birthday presents ...she is our Christmas angel who arrive about 3 AM ...just in time to celebrate the reason for the season.
I am going to wish you all a very happy Christmas...I am missing several dear friends this year and I wish I could blink my eyes like "I dream of Jennie" and make it possible for Cyd to be here for the holiday, You are so loved dear friend. Enjoy the photos and have a safe and happy Christmas. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
