Wednesday and a cool but hot day with a few gentle raindrops kissing my face....

Today We finished the new air conditioning unit  installation in our dearly loved home.  We now are proud owners of a new generator and a new air conditioner. YAHOO!!!!  Now if the power holds out we will be prepared fir almost any weather induced situation In Ohio.  On Monday, I was so lucky to be able to work with one of my favorite young artists...my dear Marshall Cole...my grandson.  He had gone out to play golf with Grandpa and then came down to the studio for lunch and free access  to any art supply in my studio.  I know he was a little overwhelmed ...but jumped right in and tried some collage, mixed media and some watercolor strokes!  It does a heart good to work with and beside a young and free spirited artist.  Art saves lives!!!

I began the re-installation of supplies and organization of paints and materials in my Whispers and Echoes Studio.  This is a much larger project ... I may be working for a couple days...well maybe a little longer.  I needed to get to this job completed... so my reward will be to have a clear space to actually work on and allow the paints to dry.  I ordered some new colors of dyes from Dharma and a couple of special scarves to begin for the Holiday 2012 Season.  I love ordering from Dharma ...they are like old friends.  Abby, her sister and their Mother came in for lunch this afternoon so I did not get as much re-organized as I had planned.  Smile.. I need to put my rear in gear ... but then having great friends drop by is a reward in itself!  The skies began darken and the rains began to open up on a hot drought ridden sidewalk in front of my studio.  Priscilla dropped by and we caught up on the possibilities for our entries for the quickly approaching Dawes Art exhibit.

I worked until around 6 PM and then decided to head home for barbeque chicken wings and fresh corn on the cob!  Life does not get any better!!! Sweet simple pleasures and a cool down rain shower for my garden.  Imagine and Live in Peace,  Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

Everyone discusses my Art
and pretends to understand
as if it were necessary to understand,
when it is simply necessary to love.
