Every Inchie Monday....Nest
I happen to have two birdhouses filled with young Carolina Wrens ...so inspiration is right outside my window. I have a vacant bird nest on one of the log beams from last summer but hopefully there might be a new family moving in soon. My idea of a home for family is making a "nest" that is comfortable for all who enter our doorway. I know this whole week should be extremely busy so I have already started on my next week's inspiration ...we have a 50Th celebration party to attend, Chicago at the Weathervane Summer Theater on Thursday, Family night at the the Grill and Don Williams at the Midland on Wednesday. Monday and Tuesday I have two students signed up for individual classes ...so I am very blessed. The heat continues as we all move forward but I am grateful for the gifts in my life's nest. p.s. I am making centerpieces for a friend's daughter's wedding rehearsal on Friday...whew...wish me luck!

ReplyDeleteThank you all for your kind supporting words...I really do enjoy working on these tiny works of art. I had a great day in the studio and my young student did a fabulous job on her lesson today. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen
